Horrible news. But, you want to talk about someone who had a real passion for something and a good will to help others, its him. I hope his story inspires others.

RIP

That picture speaks a thousand words.

What little I know about road racing there is that there isn't much of any course that doesn't have somebody's name attached to it due to some tragic end.

There is something beyond the ordinary in a man who would chance his life to help others. He has a special place in the hearts of all he helped and admiration from all who have heard his story.

I saw this a few days ago - sad news for all. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

The post I saw had a 44 minute special on the man. Click link to view.

Check out Eugene's Doc John helmet tribute for this GP event.

I think its a nice tribute.

I've also been following Jaime Hamilton's recovery, and in his first FB post, he mentioned how sad he was to learn of Doc John's accident. Pretty telling, considering it was Jaime's first contact with the public since his accident at the TT, and he felt compelled to talk about John Hinds.

Its regretful that Doc John's story isn't well known to the motorcycle community as a whole. I think his dedication to the sport and others is something we can all identify with and be inspired by

RIP Doc John. Saw a tribute video of one of his lectures and the guy had a good presence. It's unfortunate someone who loved helping people such as he did had a tragic end. Condolences to his family.
