Dec 2012 ROTM voting thread.
I suspect we old fella's may have had the p1ss taken out of us here.
"Maybe this month the hurricanists will see that it's Christmas and give a vote to a non-hurricane in need!"
At this stage it's a good even fight, with our representative Knackie in equal first place.
Soooo, before you knock back your next egg-nog and we all totally switch our brains off for the Festive Season of family fights and stressing about whether or not the turkey is cooked;
lets all hustle our Zimmers over to the Dec 2012 voting thread and use our arthritis bent fingers to post a click for Knackie.
Let's prove once and for all to these 600 whippersnappers that age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.
You know your assignment gentlemen, we all expect that you will each do what is required.
Thank you, and Seasoned Greetings.

And I just remembered this, in case you don't know how to make eggnog.
Sounds pretty good to me.
This Christmas eggnog is perfect to have on a summer afternoon with some friends and family, or even as gifts
Ingredients
- Two litres of french vanilla ice cream
- 12 whole eggs
- Between half and a whole teaspoon of nutmeg
- One bottle of whisky (good whisky is recommended)
Blend it together with an electric mixer - best to do it in two goes.
Serve cold and shortly after making it.
If served later in the day, give it a shake just before pouring.

Wot?? 37 views and still only 6 votes? What part of the instructions were unclear guys?
I guess you're maybe all out buying French Vanilla ice cream and eggs. Assuming you would already have the other essential ingredients.
So when you get back from the store, don't forget to click for Knackie.
Cheers

Fair point Shadow, I'm sure there are probably some people that like it with Anisette, but that doesn't necessarily make that a good idea.
Each to his own, I just offered the recipe because I heard it on the wireless and thought it sounded yummy and simple enough for even me to cope with.
More importantly though; have you voted yet? running still remains tight.

You guys should try something called "Amarula" - it's a creamy drink made from the Marula berry (which is why elephants love Marula trees - they get "on their ear" eating them when they are ripe) It's a sight to see.....................jumbo's falling over or asleep on their feet - gotta love it ! LOL
Anyway, eaten with vanilla or coffee flavoured ice cream it's memorable.
And yes I did vote for Knackie.......................
