For starters.

There's a couple of forum members who live up here that I have not met.

I've never seen another Hurricane on the road. Seen a couple on Craigslist. Seen some obscenely low mileage Mk2 show ponies at the dealer to get their carbs douched, but I have never seen one on the road.

Running down the Interstate tonight. I get this flash of blueish silver in my periphery. Sure enough, merging into traffic, just ahead of me is a Mk1 Hurricane. I couldn't believe my eyes. So I followed the dude.. Caught up and exchanged nods of approval. Rode another 12 miles past my exit to signal to pull over at the next.

Older dude, no kid. Beauty of a bike w/44k on the odometer. Couple of cracks here and there and a makeshift seat chop but overall not bad at all.

Told him to join up here

It's always good to see another one on the road. Don't see too many down here any more although they still seem to populate the online sales sites - and sell.
