Bulk Oil .... Rotella T ...rebranded for TSC
It would appear that my favorite oil the UBER cheap Rotella T 15 40
is now available rebranded for TSC (Tractor Supply Company) as
Traveller Premium All Fleet 15W-40
$54.99 for 5 Gallons
Just a heads up I know some people like myself use the Rotella T 15W - 40
conventional oil for just about everything
If you are Brand "Fussy" TSC still carries Branded Rotella T 15W - 40 for 10 bucks more @ $64.99 for 5 gallon bucket
I know my old Buddy Trout might be interested in this as he has as many vehicles as I do

Expensive oil & Filters
Crikey thats cheap!
Down here in NZ I'm paying NZD $58 (Approx USD $72) for 1.05 Gal (4litres) from the bike shop!
I've never been brave enough to try non motocycle branded oil as I'm unsure what it will do the the clutch plates. Also none of the parts suppliers have a clue since they only employ half wit sales clowns more interested in selling crap than know anything mechanical. My local bike shop is not keen on anything not sold by them, funny that eh, lol.
Chite, I'm also paying NZD $32 a filter too, so oil changes are feckin pricy for my ole gear grinder.
So, being curious, a standard 15-40w non synthetic is ok to use then? no detriment on clutch plates or motor?

for as long as it is not modified and stamped with"energy conserving" etc they are.
Most diesel orientated 15w 40 oils are good and in fact help clean out sludge from
higher mileage petrol engines ............. I've started using it on my 180k miles Car
Well good filters here run about 8 bucks average, but I bought 8 for the bikes last
month for 40 bucks with a coupon
This TSC "Travellers" 15w40 as I said is 55 bucks for 5 gallons and now I have it in
every motor I have , cars, bikes , outboards (4stroke) , generators & snowmobiles
I just watch out for the specials during the year and stock up when the time is right.
Keeps the Missus happy too ........ and that's a good thing trust me
