You really need those sliders Kaska!
The reason I'd like to be able to do it is 'cos it's all about body position on the bike (from what I gather). If you aint got the right body position in the corner it's not gonna happen . It's not about how far you lean the bike over , in fact quite the opposite , a rider with his knee down will lean the bike over less , but the centre of gravity will be lower and on the inside of the bend , giving more grip and control and if you like speed .
The second video I posted is very informative . When I remember to do some of the stuff he talks about , my cornering is a lot better and feels it as well!

Absolutely, there simply is no need to get your knee down in the real world of road riding, it's like hanging off on the road, if you have to you're probably going waaay too fast for the road anyway, counter steering is the name of the game for the road.
You're guys!!
And, as far as getting my knee down, nope, never!! ..never tried, don't see the point and anyway am rather fond of my knees, although just now they are very sore ..I was on them all day Sunday ..... tiling!! ;-)

The only time I managed it, it was both knees at once plus an elbow followed by my fat **** and then the rest of me doing olympic standard head over heals in fast forward LOL
I have done it on other bikes but not on the cane,I'm too fat and old now mate (and I think my bo110X have shrunk) LOL

I love getting a knee down. First time I managed I had a dumb grin on my face for a week

Try not to as much as I Can............kinda
In recent memory only twice and out of circumstance more than by intent
coming down unfamiliar stretch of mountain highway up near Franconia
Notch New Hampshire...................on bends that kept on closing up quick
meaning of course ..........wuz moving a bit too fast......but too late to
chicken out...........so when I hit the second one as hard a little further down
I decided I was pushing my luck getting down to headlight level of
a steady stream of cages coming at me..........and eased off.
Had a set of JR speedmasters on at the time otherwise I wouldn't ha
been going so hard and been so gutsy.....but sometimes ya know how it is
......no guts no glory
......OF COURSE ONLY AS LONG AS YOU ARE STAYING WITHIN YOUR RIDING
ENVELOPE AND CONDITIONS ARE RIGHT....my
Scooter vid wuz ridiculous but funny all the same .....reminds me
