Default B Honest Do You Get Your Knee Down?

It's something I'd like to be able to do , but not yet developed big enough b0ll0cks

Here's a vid to prove you don't need to ride an R1 to do it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rlik7...eature=related

For those that are interested , this vid will show you how to do it , still hasn't got me there yet though.

Let's put it this way - I don't drag my knees because I don't have sliders on my leathers, so losing a kneecap on a kerb or catseye isn't part of the plan.
However, I have scraped both sides exhaust covers (they scrap before my pegs) which is a bit disconcerting to say the least !!
Look up posts from a guy called Dad - he raced his bike regularly on trackdays and has plenty of tips.
Personally I think it's over rated

Lol, is that like 'getting your legover'.... cos that don't happen as much as it should.
TBH, I'm with Shadow on this one, not having sliders. I do shift my weight across and maybe a little knee out, but not with the intent of dragging along the road. My tyres are not quite used at the very edge but only a couple of cm's to go, but I'm happy enough there.

The only time I managed it, it was both knees at once plus an elbow followed by my fat **** and then the rest of me doing olympic standard head over heals in fast forward LOL

I have done it on other bikes but not on the cane,I'm too fat and old now mate (and I think my bo110X have shrunk) LOL

Ouch! Sawnee , that must of hurt!

Yeah my b0ll0cks shrink to the size of rasins on a bad day

The first vid I put up just 'cos its bizarre !

The second vid is interesting what they say about body position , purely from a control and safety aspect , it's good to be in the right position on the bike . Not necessarily with the knee down , but proper weight distribution.

It shows as well you don't have to be going fast!

I've only been on my knee once...and that ended in divorce

No way in hell that i'd risk divorcing my cane! Which would most likely happen if i'd lean in that far...
