Well, since Steve has given the game away of how I mount the camera I should say I don't hang it around my neck on the bike,
the first time I tried that the camera released itself, span around and filmed my ***** ..lol

So, now what I do is have the strap around my upper back and tightened to push the camera firmly back against the mounts ..lol

This works well now, it's comfortable and the camera is just the right height for scenery and still shows the bike cockpit,
the camera is held snugly and vibration is damped out quite well :-)

Well, you see... your shirt gets to flapping in the wind... then it flips the camera around.
Only one way to solve that problem...
but I'm not exactly sure what that one way is...

Found this old mobil phone suction cup thingy might give that
a shot today if it works .........Going to suction it onto the
tank and see if it holds

 

Not a bad idea, Sprock... I thought about trying the same thing with my GPS suction mount. With my luck, though, it would probably just fall off and I'd run over it.

 

My idea sucked badly..........geddit .........it f'n fell off.

So I ordered a tank mounted one from the Guy on ebay
