I have not looked up the stats on this , but from memory I know that quite a few people have been clobbered over the years by out of control flying bikes ...
The riders are "a bit nuts" , but the spectators too need the "a bit nuts" tag I think ..

crazy stuff though all the same ......

There are deaths at the TT every year and yes the spectators aren't 'safe' either.

But I don't think anyone there, rider or spectator would change a thing.
