Default Getting closer

I got my moon boot off last Monday, I've been doing physical therapy all this week. Had the bike lowered an inch and replaced the chain/sprockets, had it tuned-up, and I'm going to replace the front brake pads before I really get on it. Boyfriend took it out after I had all the tuning-up done and he said it feels amazing; he weighs the same amount as me and said he didn't really notice a handling difference with the inch drop.

Still being careful and won't be on it for another couple of weeks..but it's so close I can smell it!

Well congrats on getting closer! I'd be getting excited, too. It won't be too long now!

Glad to hear it! We'll be needing some pics of you on that bike soon as you get back on!

Well hey, when in forced downtime, shopping is a good way to amuse oneself.

I found an amazing local mechanic who does race tuning for a lot of the local people, he charges half of what the dealerships/shops charge and works out of his garage. If anybody in the Tampa area wants his name/number, just let me know.

I know what you mean about wanting to get back on! I've been back on for a lil over a month after breaking my collarbone, and it is great!

I was off the bike for 3 weeks after getting my nose done.

Even though it was sh*t windy day and it had just stopped raining, It felt great to be back on the bike. Only been back on two days now and ive done over 100 mile.

I got back on tonight O.o All I did was idle around the block/get in first. I walked it around pretty much all the corners- could NOT bring myself to make that turn out of the driveway.

But I got the first time back on jitters out of the way- the know-how is still *there* I've just got to not be scared of it. Hopefully I'll knock it out of the way for the three day weekend.
