Default Headlight Globe Replacement on 1000FN[92]

Before you do anything make sure you have the right wattage as replacements. This model was issued with 35/35 in Australia.

Pretty easy to do,if you have tiny hands it will be like shyte of a shovel

Remove Mirrors,Screen,L & R Top covers ,all round head key bolts.Theres 10 of them all up,on the Upper part of Bike.

Remove the Maintenance plate below Headlight, push out pins[2],yup they will fall inside the fairing,so i also removed them. With small hands you have a chance to get to the Globe dust cover now.

The top Fairing with a slight jiggle should pull forward towards the Tank, now remove the two screws that hold in the Shield/deflector.

The idiot lights cluster can be moved fwd, giving easy access from above & the sides to get to the Dust seals/Globes.

The Dust seals have a Tab at the bottom ,with TOP imprinted at the top,re install the way they were removed.Globes locked in place by a spring clip.Overhead view of the Dust seals.

The Dust Seal[s].Reinstall is the reversal of what you did.
Note!* Check all Electrics are working before refitting everything....
Looking from the Clutch lever side, one Dust cap removed, not enough room to swing a Cat.......
