Default fuel pump repair

not sure if this has been covered before.
here goes

first remove side pannel to get to the fuel pump.
turn off fuel and ignition
unplug fuel pump and remove the fuel lines
unclip and remove pump

remove rubber casing

unscrew single screw in plastic cap and remove

place new contacts out and check where everything goes

get your soldering iron and unsolder the black wire attached to the contacts

remove the 2 screws that hold the contacts on

remove the contacts

replace with new contacts, noting which wire goes to which screw

re-solder black wire to contacts

replace plastic cap and rubber sleeve

re-join all the pipe work

put back on the bike and hopefully it will all work
