fuel pump repair

not sure if this has been covered before.
here goes first remove side pannel to get to the fuel pump. turn off fuel and ignition unplug fuel pump and remove the fuel lines unclip and remove pump Attachment 32342 remove rubber casing Attachment 32343 unscrew single screw in plastic cap and remove Attachment 32344 place new contacts out and check where everything goes Attachment 32345 get your soldering iron and unsolder the black wire attached to the contacts Attachment 32346 remove the 2 screws that hold the contacts on Attachment 32347 remove the contacts Attachment 32348 replace with new contacts, noting which wire goes to which screw Attachment 32349 re-solder black wire to contacts Attachment 32350 replace plastic cap and rubber sleeve Attachment 32351 re-join all the pipe work Attachment 32352 put back on the bike and hopefully it will all work :icon_banana::icon_banana: |
