Default 95 1000f "popping" issue

So I bought this 95 1000f with only 12K on it last year and the only thing it needed was a good carb cleaning which I did and she ran and still runs great. My issue is I took off on it yesterday morning and started hearing a sound that resembled popcorn popping. it does it on accel and decel as well. seems to get better as the bike get up to temp. It's only an audible nuisance and does not affect the running of the bike at all. I was pretty careful putting it all back together as I have cleaned many sets on these inline 4s over the years. Ran fine when I parked it.... just started that noise after she sat over night. like I said if you wore a helmet you probably wouldn't even hear it. I just did get all the plastics back on the f'ing thing too. they were off all winter. The sound IS NOT there at all when the bike is stationary and running... it idles perfectly. Only under a load. it's almost a "tinny" sound and sounds like it's coming from the left front of the bike. If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.This is frustrating AF

Have you checked the wheel bearings?

@faston2whlz Wow, did you get that wrong. I'm sure that's not his intention at all. Wheel bearings can make sounds like you're describing. Have you put the bike up on paddock stands and verified that there is no play in them

Not sure of this model, but do they have a speedo cable as it could also be that clicking?
