In most cases all that is really needed are the friction / separator plates (matching the stack height is the most important thing), possibly springs as well, what make you think that the full clutch assembly needs replacing?
e.g. https://www.ebay.com/b/Complete-Clut...40/bn_21385267

If required most of the parts are available in the US. The washer should be readily available at a hardware store if required.

one of the reasons I thought it was something more was a lot of clunking and rattling. when I pull the lever in most all if it went away.

I did not have any drive issues through just a lot of noise.

I can post photos of specific parts if you like so maybe you can see something I dont or say that part is fine or now

thank you very much.

The clutch baskets on these bikes are quite noisy and do go away when the clutch is pulled in. Call it a design feature If you have no other issues I would not worry about it.
How long have you had the bike and has it recently gotten worse?

Not bearing because it's stationary when clutch engaged. Bearing only spins when lever is squeezed to pull plates apart and disengage clutch.

A quick question Danno, is that also still the case when in neutral with the lever not squeezed?
