I'm going to be splicing in some LEDs and an alarm shortly. What I was thinking about using for connections were scotchloks. I use them at work to splice telephone wires.

Any thoughts?

Scotchloks are the devil in automotive/motorcycle applications. I install car electronics for a living, we're trained to avoid them, i've just had a lot of bad experiences with them.

lol that was over a half a year ago. and I discovered scotchloks sucked too. really meant for solid core wire. Ended up using better alarms and leds with premade connectors and t-taps
