Do not use Gorilla Glue (it bubbles and ends up looking like crap)

DO use a small amount of a 2 part epoxy like the one in the photo below:

CAUTION: DONT GET THE ONES ON THE 900RR THEY MELT I GOT OFF EBAY TOO.

what are the specs on the LED size or voltage? i went to radioshack today and they had a bajillion LEDS and i had no clue which one i needed so i walked out with nothing :S .

I have not done this, but pretty much any voltage LED will work, you probably want 2 that have higher current ratings, size will depend on your rod, also your resistor will depend on the current and voltage of your diodes.

obviously want brighter LEDs, in general the more current the brighter. if the LED is in the tens of miliamps you probably need a more complicated circuit to use them, and should choose a different type

assuming your only using these with your bike on, a basic resistor equation would be R = (14-Vdiode-Vdiode)/(current) pick the closest value available. i would personally go with a 10-15%larger value than what that equation would produce.
- power rating may also be important, for that take W = (14-Vdiode-Vdiode)*(current).

other notes:
you really should solder your wiring,
epoxy instead of tape would be better to use to hold the wires in place.
