Default How To: Change Your LEVERS

i just changed my levers to powder coated ones i bought on ebay (here) for like 25 bucks so i said what the hell i might just taske pics for the noobs that need help. so i did they loook great.

Time: 5-10 min

Tools/what u need

1. your hands
2. monkey wrench
3. screw driver (-)
4. greas
5. new levers

Step 1. remove old levers. there is a nut and a bolt. The right side simpily comes of when you remove the bolt but the left has the end of the clutch cable atached to lever, it simply comes off by pulling it throw the slot.

new and old levers

step 2. Greas up the new levers throgh the hole the bolt goes throgh and the surounding area so it does not get stuck.

step 3 revere the steps u took to remove it and put new levers in.

step 4. wipe off any left over greas and test out lever to make sure it dose not stick.

step 5 sit back and look at the new cool black levers.

I just swapped out my silver levers for black as well...didin't think do to a How-To. Easy install too!
