So I had my first accident today, took too tight of a left turn on a damp road surface, causing me to lose traction and slide along the road.

Other than my brand new(2012) bike getting scratched up and bending my gear shifter against iself, is there any serious damage i should be worried about?

It was a low speed spill, but I'm still pretty new to bikes and wondering if there's anything I should look for that i dont know about.

 

The only other thing you might have an issue with is the forks were knocked out of alignment. It's an easy fix that doesn't require buying new parts.
