Default Lowering my CBR 600 & synching carbs

new to the cbr scene. im getting a cbr 600 tomorrow. guy says it needs the carbs synched. what does that mean and is it hard to fix? plus im a little vertically challenged and was told you can lower the bike. does anybody know if thats possible and what that entails? thanks any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, congratulations on getting a new bike! I have a '94 CBR600 F2. Anyway, to answer you questions, 1. To sync the carbs, you need a special tool/ kit. It's a Carb Sync Kit. You can find it on ebay and it doesn't look real tough, but you gotta take off the gas tank and get down to the carbs. So, judge your skills and proceed. 2. You can also buy lowering links that will lower the height of your bike. They go on beneath the seat where the rear suspension spring is at. Good Luck!

as an added in note to the above post, if you lower the rear with a lowering link, i would recommend lowering the front by adjusting fork height so the bike sits level with rider weight on it.
