Wikco or No-Mar?
Ok, seeing as in how I probably trashed (tore the bead) on my Pilot Power 2CT rear tire because I wanted to change the tire myself. I've decided to buy the right tools to do the job. The question is:
Should I get the Wikco MC110.100 or the No-Mar Classic? The No-Mar is about $250 more.

Wikco offers a plastic clamp upgrade for theirs that is $80.Their demount barlooks like a piece of ****.
I bought a harbor freight wheel clamp and got some "Plasti-dip" from the hardware store to coat the rim clamps with. Now I'll just buy a Nomar demount bar. Or check out the Mojo Lever...for the few extra bucks I'll buy the Nomar.
That said...I've been using curved hand irons and rim ptotectors on the floor of my garage for a couple years now. Bead lube is you friend. Nomar has some, or your local Napa will carry RUglide (I think thats the spelling) for way less money...just ask for tire bead lube. I've used diluted simple green cause it dries sticky....which is good and bad.
