Turn signal problems...pls help!
I just got everthing straightened out on my 96 F3. It was stolen for 8 years, and the jack@sses who stole it hotwired it. When I got it, the only electrical that worked was the headlight on high beam and the guage lights. Anyways, I'm trying to test the turn signals. I have a set of Lockhardt Philips flush mounts, and they have one red wire, one black wire, and one black/white striped wire. Can someone tell me which wires go where on the front? On the left, I have a green, an orange, and an orange/white. I've looked at my wiring diagrams, but I can't figure out which is which to hook up these lights. Also, when I use the turn the signal, the dash light comes on solid and I hear a buzzing sound. Should I change the flash module on it, or is this a problem due to no turn signals being plugged in yet?
Thanks in advance!

You should have, on the right side front, light blue (Lb)-green(G)-light blue/white(Lb/W). That is power, ground, andsecondary respectively. You have three wires because the signals act as side markers when not in use, meaning they're always on and only flash when used.
The left is orange(O)-green(G)-orange/white(O/W). Same thing, power, ground, and secondary. If you don't attach the whites the signal will not flash.
The rear will be only orange and green (left)and blue and green (right)wires because they are not marker lights - meaning they will not be on until they are used.
On your new signals, the red(R) will go to the orange or blue wires, the black(B) to the green and the black/white(B/W) striped wires to the striped wires on your bike. It will look like this...
Front right : Lb+R- G+B- Lb/W+B/W
Do the same for each side. I can't remember, but I think those Lockhart Phillips lights come with 3 wires in the rear too. If so, just don't connect the striped wires to anything in the rear - tape them off.
