I just put a new 2 brothers slip on exhaust on my 2008 cbr 600. After letting it warm my exhaust started to let out a white smoke and a funny smell but it didn't smell like gas. Any help please

 

That's the packing burning off. Totally normal.

yep as chain said, completely normal. they also have the internals of the muffler coated with oils for storage to prevent corrosion. As you ride it more, it will smell less, but may take some time before it doesn't smell at all.

 

Mine did the same thing...no worries I got mine last September and it still does it a bit but it's getting much better...but riding season was basically over in September come to think of it lol didn't ride much past November
