Default What are using to lift your bikes?

I was going to buy a pitbull hydraulic lift to work on a the 1995 CBR900 and a HD sportster. However, I don't think the PB lift will be able to lift the CBR because its headers protrude below the frame. Any alternative lift suggestions?

I think paddock stands are the way to go for your 900. Depending you what you get, they should work for the Harley as well.

Would recommend against the hydraulic lift. Used something similar on my F3. It's possible. But I was never comfortable with the stability.

You can't go too wrong with a decent pair of paddock stands mate, I use them all the time for mine.

The sportster will work well with the hydraulic lift. I use one to lift my Harley.

The 900rr is a different story. I use a paddock stand for the rear, and a pulley from a garage beam to lift the front.

Sorry, but two different lifting methods for two different bikes is required.

OK - maybe in not seeing something here, but if I need to pull the front forks on the CBR - I couldn't use a paddock stand - what would you use?

Hang it from the ceiling. That's what I do. Strap around the frame and neck and pull the front up. The front is not that heavy.

Pitbull headlift stand with the standard pin + #1 adapter is supposed to work with the CBR900 up to 1997
