'Bout to change the oil in my bike. Just wondering what types of oil everyone uses/recommends to me? A full synthetic, semi-synthetic, or just a regular motor oil? I guess something designed for motorcycles would be best right? Thanks

 

I'll suggest a full synthetic, just for the longevity factor of them. in shared sump motorcycles where the engine and transmission use the same oil, it's important to use an oil that lasts over excrushiating circumstances.

I personally use Amsoil MCF 10w40. long lasting and is easily available to me.

If i were to use a Semi syn, i'd use Repsol 4T 10w40 and change it at the manufactures recommendation.

If i were to use a conventional, i'd use GN4, but i'd change it well before the OEM recommendation, just because it breaks down so fast.
