Are you sure sidestand switch isn't faulty? And therefore when you let clutch out to move off, the bike still thinks the sidestand is down, cutting the engine? It's under the bike so prone to road dirt.

Default same problem

hello,
I'm having the same problem.
I disconnected the ECU for about 2 minutes to move the cables a bit. Now when I start the engine everything is ok, if I put it in gear it's fine too when the kickstand is up (if it's lowered the engine will die right when I put it in gear). The problem is that when I put it in gear with the kickstand up and the I release the clutch the engine stops. It's not from the kickstand because if I put it in gear and the lower the kickstand it will stop with the clutch pulled.

I think the problem is with the clutch switch.
any solutions to the problem? I'm going to try to check the switch and the connection to the ECU.
