What is this!

What is this engine part to the right of the oil filter looking between the downpipes,I’ve had a steth on mine and has a ticking noise?

What is the bike? Is it the oil cooler?
A ticking noise in that area could be a leaking head pipe.

It’s a Cbr600rr 03,it tends to tick when it gets to approx 40 degrees from a cold start then stops on full operating temp?

I can’t hear anything on the pipes,but trying to figure out if it’s a tick or a light tap/knock only from a cold start coming from the round part/oil cooler!?!
