Does anybody know the rider weight that the factory sets the suspensions up for? Seems like a lot of bikes are too soft. I weight about 195lbs. When i bought my 900 it was too soft. I have it set about as tight as it will go without changing springs front and back... The new R1 i bought seems to be a lot better from the factory. I'm guessing these suspensions are set for around a 165-175 lb. rider.

 

I know on my 954 the stock forks are designed for a rider who weighs no more than 170 and only rides around town.
