Default warranty

bought a brand new 06 cbr1000 .5 miles on it and it has an oil leak the dealer says that honda will only allow them to "fix" it. i did put 70 miles on it before i noticed it. i really dont want a tech at the dealer to mess with it and start takin my motor apart. any suggestions?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

+1, put complete liability on the dealer. That is what the warranty is for. If you have any engine related problems in the future is will be better for you if there is a documented "path" leading back to the dealer doing any engine work like fixing an oil leak. Since you didn't get into detail I don't know exactly where the leak is coming from so your bike just might need a new crush washer for the oil drain bolt or possibly a new seal on one of the side covers, all which is no big deal and can be fixed within one or two hours at the most by a half way capable tech.
