Vortex rear stand don't fit for my 07 1000RR.

I just picked up a Vortex rear stand for my CBR 1000RR and after putting it together and putting the spools on it is to narrow. Has anyone had this problem?

This is the stand.

I'm pretty sure you can adjust the width on the two posts to make them either wider or narrower.
