So, I have to get a the left mid fairing of my '05 600RR painted. And I was looking at the colorrite website and noticed that all the paints prescribed for CBRs is a urethane base. I've never gotten anything painted and have absolutely no clue about paints, so I was wondering if I take the fairing to a paint shop, would they use the urethane base or would they use an enamel or an acrylic?

 

tell them you want a urethane based paint.
