RE: Two service questions
No, the brake fluid you don't just drain it like you would your oil or coolant, you have to bleed it, meaning pump a little bit out, add a little more new fluid, pump a little more out... repeat repeat. You do NOT want to let it run empty otherwise you can get air bubbles in the master cylinder and it can take a whole lot of bleeding to get that out. So just do it little by little and keep an eye on the fluid level in the master cylinder to make sure it doesn't run out, and keep topping it off. Then just hold the brake lever down, open the bleed screw until the brake lever goes all the way down, hold the lever and close the bleeder ( <--- very important!! Otherwise it'll suck air back into the line). Close the bleeder and let go of the brake lever, check fluid lever after a couple times and repeat until the fluid coming out the bleeder is nice and clean. A small hose on the bleeder helps alot to keep from making a big mess. Be sure not to get any brake fluid on any painted surfaces as it will strip paint, and wipe up any spills immediatly
Oh and the rear brake, some are more picky than others, but at least on mine you MUST have the little rubber cover and cap on the resivour for it to bleed properly

Oh and for the coolant, there might be a petcock on the bottom of the radiator that you can just open to let it drain, otherwise just pop the lower radiator hose off (carefully... it'll make a mess) and let it drain that way. Don't forget to take the radiator cap off, and drain out the overflow bottle too. When refilling don't forget to burp the air out of the system several times, and refill the overflow bottle

Also with the brakes make sure you clean up any possible run off onto the pads and rotors as well, another good tip is when your done test your brakes a couple times (front & rear)in your driveway to make sure they work properly before you race off into the street.

RE: Two service questions
You guys make flushing the cooling system too difficult. This is for a 600RR but should be very similar:

Mickey, brake fluid should be replaced every 12k miles and coolant should be flushed every 16k miles.
