Turns over fast - no start
Really need help, am fairly good with bikes, engine seems to be turning over faster than normal and wont fire, could be a stuck valve ? Not hearing any engine knocks or rattles like a valve hitting a piston, 08cbr600rr, anyone come across a similar issue, 5000 Miles on engine, was running perfect, timing chain ??? any ideas or suggestions, will most likely check compression next. Thanks for any advice, does it have any type of automatic compression release ???

No automatic compression release as far as I know. I've heard of those on 2 strokes or manual start engines, but don't know if that is something that has ever been put on a sportbike.
Do you have any more information? Did you just go to start it one day and it won't start? what is the temp where your at? In cold weather, its easy for these bikes to become flooded, even fuel injected ones.
Whats your oil level at?
Is there a gas smell?
Have you rocked your killswtich back and forth a few times? They can sometimes become stuck.
Other than that, we may need some information on the bikes history, or perhaps any recent modifications you may have done.
With only 5,000 miles on it, its unlikely that there is anything major going on. Of course, without knowing the history of the bike, its hard to say.

Was running good, starter working fine, started it up cranked it up to 5k after about 10 seconds, let it sit for 2 weeks, now cranks really fast, like no compression, can hear fuel pump engage, no new major mods except for yoshi pipe, try's to fire a little, fresh oil change within 1000 miles, premium gas, anyone know size of Spark plug 14 mm ? Thanks for any and all suggestions
