Turn Signal Question

Turn Signal Question
Hello,
I am new to the forum. I had a question in regards to turn signals. I currenty have no turn signals. Im not riding the bike currently. All the wiring is in place with the "harness clips" for the direct replacment signals. I was wondering however if I could take a 12 volt strip of led ribbon light and line the under tail of the bike. The led ribbon just has a positive and negative lead. Does anyone know if this is possible. I saw that there were two differnt sets of connecting points for the front and the rar signal lights. Im assuming one is for constant on and the other a switch? I appreciate any help I can get.
Thank you,
Seth

i dont know about the specific wiring of it, but i do know for a fact your going to need resistors if you do this, LED's have such a low amount of power needed to make them work, that they will cause your turn signals to flash quickly as if a bulb is out
i know this because we did this on my friends r6, we just havent installed the resistors yet lol
