Default Trying to make the Yoshi on my 96 F3 louder.

I want a louder sound. I tried to disassemble the muffler at the tip section by removing some bolts but the bolts seemed merely cosmetic. Should I have it apart at the mid pipe section or did I simply do it wrong?

You should be able to take the endcap off once those bolts are removed. Then you can pull out the internal baffle, and remove some or all of the packing material.

Here's Yoshi's repacking video:

Found this pic on a Kawi forum - we're not supposed to link to other forums on CBRF though - so put yoshimura repack into google, and it's like the 7th result.

repack your exhaust and use a pillow pack. Its less messy, you will notice a small increase in noise and your bike will be very happy. You can always cut it down.
