Im not 100 percent sure what your asking, But I'll try......

Why can't you just use the wiring from your bike? The headlight will come on when you start the bike, and your high and low will still work with what ever headlight you decide to use. Make it simple and just use the existing wiring.

Besides, most states require a headlight to be on at all times on a motorcycle, so there wouldn't be much point in a toggle.

If your wiring does not exist, find a source that is ignition hot. Then buy a universal relay, (usually around 5 bucks at any autoparts store), wire the ignition hot source to the signal source of the relay, then wire ground from the relay to the headlight. Wire the hot from the relay to the high beam switch on your handlebar, that way you will still have an operational high/low beam.

If you want the ability to turn your headlight on and off, you can simple hardwire a toggle inline between your battery and your headlight dimmer switch. However, you run the risk of leaving the headlight on when you turn off your bike.
