I got Pirelli Diablo Strada's on my CBR600rr & they are great - last for ages too. Check out Ebay, that's where i got mine.

The shop I visited really liked the Qualifiers (Dunlop?), as well as a couple of their customers.

I'm on my second set of Metzler M1's, but I think the M3 is the replacement.

I kind of regretted the m1's and wish I'd gone with the qualifiers, guess I'll have to wait til they run out, which is fairly quick with M1's.

+1 for the Michelin Pilot Power's.... I ran those for 2 seasons on my RC51.

06 1000RR came with Pirelli Corsa's... which I am also loving!

That sounds cheap for powers, down here it's about AUD$450 a set + fitting costs.

For any good tires, the prices I've found are between 220ish and 260 shipped. That's for Qualifiers, Powers and so on. I have the Qualifiers on now and they are great, but I don't know how they will wear yet. I'll let you know in a few more months. They do grip like they have claws and warm up time... what's warm up time.

I just ordered a set of Pirelli Diablo Stradas for my neighbor. I've read a lot of good reviews on them and he needs the extra mileage tires for the money. I'd love to buy a spare set of rims and keep Qualifiers and try out the Stradas as well. It only takes a couple of minutes to switch out

Don,

Assuming you had 218's on you Tribal before you got the Pilot Powers, were the Pilot Powers a night and day difference? I ask because compared to the 06 1000 that has the Pirelli Corsa’s, my 05 600RR handles like crap. I was told it might be the 218's I'm thinking about going to a local shop and have them help me tune the 600's suspension it feel so bad compared to the 1000.
