Ok....after the nail in the tire issue, I have come to the decision to just go ahead and buy another tire to put on the back of the 954. Here is the new question. I think, since I loved the Metzler M1 so much, that I would go with Metzler again. If you haven't tried this tire yet...damn....sticky, but the wear is a little quick. The thing is Metzler has come out with a new version...the Metzler M3. Has anyone used this tire yet? It is supposed to have improved mileage and tire wear as well as being a better overall performance tire for newer sport bikes. It's suppsoed to be an awesome tire. BUT, I really liked the way the M1s performed, and I like the tread pattern better. I leave this conundrum to you guys....

 

Metzler M3's are the shiznit!!! Great grip on them and no warm up time. Dont get me wrong, they grip better when hot, but cold, they grip WAY better than a Qualifier or PP. M1's are good, but I think thew tech has increase in the M3

 

I have ran both tires and thought that the m-3 may be just a bit stickier then the m-1's. For the most part i am just an "average" useage rider, some twisties, city, etc. However that being said i still run the m-1's just because i can get a set $60 cheaper then the m-3's, as for my riding there is not that much differance to me.
