Tire Change
I have a F4 and I was wondering when should I change the tires? My front tire is worn out more on the left side compared to the right side. My back tire is pretty good. How can I decide when to change them?
Also, is it easy to change them? I dont have any equipment with me, so should I take it to the sho?
Please help,
thanks

you change them when they almost hit the wear bars or if they are very old.
if it's more worn on one side than the other, you'll want to make sure it's not an alignment or suspension issue.
as for changing tires, it's a pita if you try and do it yourself. your best bet is to invest in some stands, remove the tires and havea shop mount and balance the tire for you and you put them back on the bike.
i'm in the process of mounting and balancing my own tire, but got stuck waiting for cash flow to buy a new rear tire...

I have 4.5k on these tires. But those are the original tires on this 2001 F4. So, they are of 6 year old. Also, what is "wear bar", is it a measure or is it something I see when the tire is worn out? How to determine that?
thanks
thanks
