Change the tire or what
My girl's GSXR has the stock Dunlop D207s on and about 5k miles on an '05. During the upcoming winter we're both getting Michelin PP's (same sizes). We discovered an industrial size staple in the rear, and I'm not happy about it (she didn't want to tell me). The tire isn't losing air, and it doesn't appear to go through the tire. She's complained about rear grip and I simply said that stock tires suck. This morning I checked the pressure and both were REALLY low, like...probably the same air from Japan.
She says grip is better now. But I've got a rear Shinko that I'm not using. Should we mount the Shinko until the Pilot Powers get mounted, get the D207 plugged and keep it consistent (f/r), or leave it the hell alone? (Stupid question right?)

RE: Change the tire or what
I got the Shinko when I bought the bike used. It had a D208 up front. I've since changed both the front and rear to D208s.
She rides like a novice and bought the bike before we met. She rode my bike and now wants hers to feel like mine.
I've taken the time to observe the differences and am more appreciative of the Honda. Simple things like the light pattern at night.
Guys stop changing your lights. The 1-light pattern is where its at!!!
I'll have her put the Shinko on. It's practically brand new. Thanks guys. I knew I could count on you.
