Default is there a bondo for plastic?

I went riding with my buddy today.. hes a new rider.. well he laid down his bike at about 40mph and messed up his plastics pretty bad. he rides a 91 katana and its hard to find parts for. well i feel bad and want to help him fix it back up.. my question is if there is anything to fix the plastic or at least make it look nice. is there any kind of bondo for plastic you can get?

thanks

regular bondo does not adhere well to plastics - if you prep it first with a coat of epoxy it'd probably work okay. or try this.

There is another post on here where a guy posted pics of his body work and it looks really good and he said he used a plastic weld called Perma Proxy. He said you can get it at your local auto store....Thats what i plan on using on some cracks that i need to fix...you may want to check into that....right now i have used some fiber glass and resin (sp?) and i dont like it...it has hardened too much and now it doesnt fit right so im going to have to do it over again.

That post is under the DIY forums if you wanna take a look.
