So how hot does your bike run after after about 20 min of driving. Mine always jumps up to 220 or so after some short driving. Is this common for eveyrone else? Sorry if this is a repost, I looked and could not find anything. (and yes my fans come on)

 

Yes that is normal.

 

Very normal... the fan kicks on around 219- 220. And the running temp should be around 178-190. That's when the thermostat opens to let the coolant flow.

Right, right... sorry. I forget there are other bikes out there other than the RR's. The info I gave was for the 03-06 600RRs.
