Which model CBR? The F3 is very simple you just twist the socket and pull out after you have the fairings off.
Edit: In the other thread you said you had a 2001 F4i. I'll admit that I know absolutely nothing about those bikes.

Its the same as the F3. Its just needed a lot more force than i expected and i was afraid i might break somethin at first. The frustration probably wasnt helping to much either.
