Default Tach/Digital Display Not Lighting Up

I turn the bike on to go out last night and notice that theres no illumination on the tach or the dig display. All thats visiable is the constant time readout. The engine starts, blinkers, lights, horn work. Also, my alarm isnt activating. WHICH fuse is it that blew, IF thats what blew?

thanks a lottt

check your fuses man. if it looks blown replace it. im sure you can find out what a blown fuse looks like on the internet if you dont already know. jus tuse some needle noses to pull the fuses out

Should be one for gauges in the fuse block.

I've been blowing the same fuse. Every time I turn the key, that fuse pops. All I've done is replace the blinkers, which is odd because the blinker fuse isn't the one popping. Any idea?

I realize there is probably a short somewhere, but any ideas as to where it probably is? More importantly, any atypical suggestions? Like, something that you wouldn't normally think of?

If your alarm is on the fuse that blew, chances are it's something on the alarm. I'd double check that wiring...

The alarms fuse blew so I think that caused a chain reaction causing the main fuse box fuse to blow, replaced both, no problemsssss. try a larger load fuse if they keep blowing.

If you have a short there that is blowing your fuses, putting a larger fuse is only going to allow for potential damage to your alarm or your harness. You should really double check the wiring. Obviously something is going on and it's better to spend 20 minutes checking out the wires than having to order a new harness or alarm or who knows what.
