Default swing arm removal

how the f*&(*( do i remove the pivot swing arm?
im in the process of replacing the engine, so far i have the frame off the engine and the engine attached to the swing arm, but the manual says that i need a hex socket , i bought one from cycle gear and tried on the left side and it spins if i hit it with my foot, so i guess i have to buy another hex and get a hold of the right side . thoughts please,

Default RE: swing arm removal

Not sure what type of bike, but on the 954 there's a cinch bolt that need to tighten up. I did the same thing. I was like what the hell I need to buy two of these damn things. After alot of cursing in the garage, I noticed that the cinch bolt was loosened to remove something and once it was tightend back up it kept it from spinning freely. Hope my rambling helps.
