Default Stomp Grip Removal

I finally broke down and realized that it's time to purchase another tank. While I'm waiting, does anyone have any suggestions on how to safely remove my Stomp Grips so I can apply them to the new tank?

I bought a new tank and it had a nice carbon fiber protector on it. So what I did was to carefully remove it then you can buy transfer adhesive at a body shop supply store "CarQuest" and place that against the protector. When your ready to put it on just remove the protective sheet and its ready to stick. But unless you work at a body shop or really like the protector its not worth it $27

Try heating them up with a hairdryer.

I suppose the heat would make them a bit more pliable, esp since heat is used to put them on in the 1st place. I noticed that there is a 3M label on it and was thinking that there was some kind of 3M adhesive I could use. Anyone try anything like this besides Uglyangel?
