As an alternative until i can source a pair of Helibars or similar for my bike i thought i would try and take some of the weight off my wrist by fitting stomp grip each side of the tank so i can grip my knees better..... any of you guys got them fitted and would you pick clear or black ? My bike is a uk model and is in the Ross White and Lapis Blue colour.

 

Clear. Lapis Blue is too pretty to cover up! You will wonder why you didnt get the Stomp grip sooner.

Yep i thought the clear too, my tank is very pretty, so i think i will go for the clear..... is it easy to put on ? And i understand from reading some more on the web that unless you are wearing leather it can be uncomfortable ..... is this correct.

 

Go clear. It was probably one of the best additions to the bike that I've done. Once you get them on and ride with them, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. It's not uncomfortable at all to me. I hated sliding around on the tank but now I'm glued to it.

 

Top, thanks for that.... just got to get me some bloody Helibars or similar now... i think it would be easier if i attempted to find the Holy Grail !

 

Make sure and line it up where you want it. The stuff is stickier than a 5yr olds hands in a candy store! Once it is on....Your days of riding around in a G-string or short shorts is over.
