What percentage error is the stock speedo for the 2001 CBR600FS1 (or all others with the electronic speedo and lcd display)?? Gonna prob go the speedo healer route and can work out the % correction using the online calculator for the gearing change but was wondering if anyone knew it or had verified it.

 

The GPS method is the best way to go.

 

Getting one's a bit trickier. Still, used to use them for doing shoreline sampling in my last job to locate the points on the beach, may be the ideal time to return that sampling can I've got before the new season starts! [8D]
