Default RE: Peeling of the factory decals

The best stuff I've ever used is from 3M. I think it's just called Adhesive Remover. I've never seen it anywhere but an automotive paint shop. I've used it on my bike and on my truck as well as a buddies truck. There is nothing like it. I used to use a blow drying and my fingernails-not anymore! When you buy the adhesive remover, be sure to pick up a small plastic squegee. They are much easier to use than a fingernail. I never had any problems with damaged paint. If your stickers are under a clear coat, then forget everything I just typed. That is a different kind of problem...

Good luck.

Adhesive remover is the best that i've seen for removing "goo" off of things, but some adhesive removers have chemicals harmful to some materials like fiberglass. Spot check it first before using it on your entire bike.

use a blow dryer. heat the decal up a little and peel it right off. i mean heat it and pul it off a little keep heating it keep pulling a little and so on and so on. don't get it super hot. works great after your done use a little goo gone to remove any bits left
