Steering on CBR600F
Hi There
I bought a CBR 600F a few months ago, it was in perfect condition, albeit a 1999 model, it only had 9000m on the clock.
About 6 weeks ago someone tried to steal it, and broke the steering column. I got it back yesterday (after replacing the whole steering column/"wheel" by a Honda dealer).
The steering now feels much lighter as originally. the guy assures me that this is actually the way it is supposed to feel..light. And thinking about it, it should be sharper now, as I need less to turn in a way.
Is this correct?
Thanks, Will

Good looking bike. Unfortunately none of us have any way of knowing whether or not the way it feels now compared to what it used to is correct because we never rode it. Although it should be smooth and not have to be forced to turn in. More than likely your tech is right.
