Default stator change help

so I am upgrading my stock stator first cbr I have owned so I have a few questions, 600 f2
1)do I need to drain the oil or can I tilt the bike to the side ^^
2) do I need a rotor puller or is the stator attacted to the cover * some bikes have stators attacked to the flywheel so a rotor puller is needed , just don't know about this model,

thanks

1) you could lean it over, but you'd have to have a lot of lean - not worth the risk imo
2) stator is on the cover (but you would need a puller if you wanted to pull the rotor)

cool, rotors really don't go bad but we will see one im inside , next question
bike doesn't charge the battery bike has 50k miles
if the battery has 13-12 volts it starts with 0 problems but at 5k+ the battery doesn't charge *or at any RPM* so after a few starts battery get lows and it dies , I believe its the R/R but want a 2nd advice before I buy a stator *its getting upgraded later if its R/R*

so , will the bike run fine but is it the stator not charging ,
or is it the R/R not charging all wires are connected
